Hey Reader,

Ever notice how tennis players sway and shift before returning a 140mph serve? There’s a reason for that—it keeps them ready to react while protecting their back.

Do this before every point when you're on defense or your partner is serving:

✅ Bend your knees slightly for a stable base.

✅ Hinge at the hips (not your lower back) to stay balanced.

✅ Shift side to side—rocking from right to left—to loosen up your hips and spine.

This simple movement keeps your back from stiffening up, helps prevent pain, and gives you that split-second advantage to reach any shot by creating a better base. Give it a try before your next match!

Let me know how it feels, and if you need more ways to be powerfully pain-free, I’ve got you covered.

Stay strong,

Coach Kyle
